OMODA brings its first electric car E5 to Russia

A major automaker from China — OMODA — has introduced its innovative E5 electric car to the Russian market. This vehicle is characterized by incredibly low energy consumption and a long range.
The OMODA E5 consumes only 15.5 kWh per 100 km with a range of 430 km on a single charge. The 61 kWh battery has a fast charging technology that can replenish its charge from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes. The main engine of the OMODA E5 is an electric motor with 225 hp and 360 Nm of torque. This gives the car an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.8 seconds and a braking distance of 36 meters at 100 km/h.
The OMODA E5 has body dimensions of 4.4×1.8×1.6 meters, with a wheelbase width of 2.6 meters. This vehicle is offered with front-wheel drive. The interior features 64-color intelligent lighting and a 24.6-inch dual-screen instrument cluster.

The new OMODA E5 electric car is likely to be as well-equipped as its fuel-efficient counterparts. Expect four airbags, ABS+ESP, a quality multimedia system, climate control, heated seats, intelligent cruise control, a surround-view system, parking radar, and other elements that will help the driver.

The official launch of the OMODA E5 on the Russian market is scheduled for spring 2024. The price of this car will be announced at the same time.
