The new Ural will receive a powerful Russian YaMZ-537 engine

At the ongoing MIMS-24 exhibition, representatives of the Yaroslavl Motor Plant (YaMZ) presented an updated version of their famous YaMZ-537 engine. This new modification significantly surpasses the previous one, with an output of 327 hp, which is 27 hp more than the previously announced output of 300 hp. This improvement makes the engine more competitive on the market and opens up new opportunities for use in various vehicles.
One of the key aspects of the updated engine is its compliance with the stringent Euro-5 environmental standards. This is an important achievement given the increasing demands for environmental and emission reductions. Meeting such standards not only improves the manufacturer’s image, but also expands the market as many companies seek to minimize the environmental footprint of their vehicles.
In addition, YaMZ is actively working on innovations in the field of alternative fuel sources. A modification of the engine that runs on liquefied natural gas (LNG) was presented at the exhibition. This variant is intended for installation on Ural tractors, which will soon launch a new LNG long-haul model equipped with this modern power unit. The use of LNG not only reduces carbon dioxide emissions, but also allows to significantly reduce operating costs, which makes such vehicles more attractive for carriers.
Thereby, Yaroslavl Engine Plant demonstrates its commitment to innovation and sustainable development by offering the market modern, powerful and environmentally friendly engines. Participation in the MIMS-24 exhibition emphasizes the company’s strategic course to develop technologies and improve the quality of its products, which will undoubtedly attract the attention of both consumers and industry professionals.
