Indie World 2024: Everything you can play right now

New indie games you can play or try right now! Nintendo has released its latest Indie World presentation, with announcements and updates on more than a dozen new games from indie developers coming to Nintendo Switch this year. As with every Nintendo presentation, some of these games are available now, whether it’s a full release or a demo you can try out.

Antonblast

Antonblast — is a side-scrolling platformer starring Dynamite Anton and Dynamite Annie, who run around a hand-drawn pixel-art world and fight dangerous enemies with powerful weapons. Anton and Annie can use their Mighty Hammer and Massive Mace respectively to destroy parts of each stage, which open up new paths to explore. The game will be released on Switch on November 12, and a free demo is available now.

Cat Quest 3

The first two Cat Quest games focused on high fantasy with swords and magic, but the latest installment takes players to the high seas with pirates and ancient treasures to find alone or with a friend in local co-op. A free demo of Cat Quest 3 is available now, with the full game launching on August 8.

Europa

In Europa, an android named Zee lands on the moon Europa in search of clues about a long-vanished civilization. In the 3D platformer, Zee will fly and glide through Europa’s many biomes using his trusty jetpack, all while solving puzzles and exploring the ruins of ancient societies lost to time. Europa will be released sometime this year, but like previous games, a demo is available now on the Nintendo eShop.

Sticky Business (and its DLC)

In Sticky Business, players will manage a sticker store where they will create unique stickers using over 400 items available in the game and give them to customers who request them, while learning more about those customers. Upgrades such as foil can be purchased to give stickers a unique flavor, and the optional Plan With Me DLC adds more customers, more sticker designs, and a new diary theme. Sticky Business and the Plan With Me DLC are available now from the Nintendo eShop.

Stitch

Stitch — is a relaxing world of knitting and cross-stitch embroidery brought to video games through unique and challenging number-based puzzles called «Hoops». Each loop section must consist of a certain number of squares to complete the overall design, and each completed design can be replayed in Free Stitch mode. The Stitch game is available for purchase now from the Nintendo eShop.
