Super Mario RPG: Where to Find the Safety Ring

In Super Mario RPG, the player can find many accessories. One of them is — a safety ring. It gives many useful effects, including protection from status effects. However, to get it, the player will have to go about halfway through the game. Below we will tell you how to get this ring.

Where to find the Safety Ring in Super Mario RPG

The Safety Ring can be found in the Shipwreck. If you’ve already passed this area, you can quickly return there at any time during the adventure, though we recommend doing so as soon as possible.

Go through the password puzzle, then go through the boss and keep going until you reach a part of the ship that is partially flooded. Here, use the whirlpool to get down to the low level and keep going.

You’ll eventually reach a room with a bunch of barrels in the upper left corner. Go around these barrels to find a secret door you can go through. In the next small room is a treasure chest. Climb on it to get the Ring of Safety.

The Ring of Safety — a powerful accessory that protects the wearer from any status effects, lethal blows and provides small bonuses to speed, physical and magical defense. We recommend keeping it on one of your party members and find it best suited for characters with healing abilities, such as Mallow or Princess Peach.
