Apple Arcade: Обзор Cricket Through the Ages, Chameleon Run+ и The Room Two+

Apple Arcade — is the apple giant’s mobile game subscription service that offers users access to hundreds of games without ads or in-app purchases. The subscription costs 200 rubles per month.
Many of the games support controllers, making them easier to play on iOS devices. However, it’s worth noting that not all of them meet high quality standards, and some may not be interesting for users.

In this weekly roundup, we take a look at a trio of Apple Arcade games and determine if they’re worth a look. In the second installment, we’ll talk about Cricket Through the Ages, Chameleon Run+, and The Room Two+.
Apple Arcade: Cricket Through the Ages
This ridiculous cricket simulator had me laughing. Very silly, but fun. The game is literally for one or two days, but this expirience will give a lot of funny moments. Of course, such a tittle — is not a reason to purchase a subscription. Rather, it is just a good break between bigger and harder games. The official description of the game speaks for itself:
.

Swing bats and throw balls in an intertwining story of humanity and cricket in this one-button physics game. More than a thousand years ago, the human race stood on the brink of extinction. Our ancestors were helpless before the mighty creatures of the earth. And then, salvation… the game of cricket was invented! Go on your own or take a friend on a journey through the rich and exquisitely accurate history of cricket in Cricket Through the Ages.

Apple Arcade: Chameleon Run+
This game can keep the user engaged for a long time, until he or she is able to dodge to the level of a master chameleon. And that’s the beauty of it.
A neat trick is that each level is divided into three colors: black areas to avoid completely, and pink and yellow areas that can be touched, but only if you’re the same color. Tapping on the right side of the screen causes you to jump, while tapping on the left — to switch between pink and yellow.

These simple ingredients combined with the elaborate and sometimes sadistic level design create a game that is tense, adrenaline-charged and a lot of fun. A good game, but not recommended for playing before bedtime. Also not recommended for those who want a simple non-stressful game.
Apple Arcade: The Room Two+
Starting in 2012, the Room series of games was a demonstration of the multi-touch capabilities of the iPad and iPhone. The «terrifying» locked-box puzzles feature delightful tactile interactivity — you twist, swipe, and tap mechanical elements, which is quite a workout for spatial reasoning.

The games are all good, but the second installment was the moment when the series took a turn for the worse: the developers suddenly realized they could take those dry puzzles to a wide variety of settings, such as an ancient temple or a ship’s cabin at sea. The game has held up surprisingly well, and if you haven’t played it yet, now is the time to get started. It is another example of a not-new hit that Apple Arcade is using to promote itself.
