Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 has hit the video for the first time before the announcement

Just a couple of days before the official announcement on July 10, the first hands-on video of a working Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 has leaked online. The video was posted by Andrei Minku on X (formerly Twitter), but was quickly deleted. However, the key shots managed to survive and give us a glimpse of the novelty.

The main change is the larger external screen
The most noticeable difference from the previous model is the significantly larger external display. While the Z Flip 6 had a 3.4-inch display, the leaks suggest that it has now grown to around 4.1 inches. The new screen covers not only the front panel, but also the camera module, making the design more cohesive. In the video, you can see that the extra space is used to display basic information like the date, time and notifications.
Larger internal screen and thinner body
The video also confirms rumors of a larger main foldable screen, from 6.7 inches to 6.9 inches. That said, the device does indeed look thinner, which is in line with previously published renders. Samsung seems to have opted for a more ergonomic design, while keeping the recognizable vertical layout.

Hardware stuffing
If leaks are to be believed, the main cameras in the Z Flip 7 will remain the same – a dual 12 MP + 12 MP system. However, the hardware will get a legitimate upgrade – most likely it will be Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The battery capacity is also expected to increase, which is especially important with the increased screen size.
What else will be unveiled on July 10?”
Besides foldable smartphones, Samsung may show off a few other new products. These include the Galaxy Watch 8 with updated sensors for health tracking, the Galaxy Buds 3 (possibly with a new design) and the much-anticipated Galaxy Ring smart ring.
