Hogwarts Legacy: The first footage of the game on Nintendo Switch has surfaced

User X Tal Helfgott said that he managed to buy the game before the official release, and showed a picture of the box as proof. According to Helfgott, part of the game needs to be downloaded, but since he purchased it early, it’s not possible to do that yet — instead, he went to the game’s pre-order page on the Switch eShop.
Helfgott said he was able to download the game from the Switch eShop.
Despite that, parts of the game are already playable, and Helfgott, is pleased, calling it «another impossible port» for Switch. The game doesn’t allow players to directly capture video by holding down the Capture button, which sometimes happens in games that push the Switch’s capabilities to the limit.
Helfgott says it’s not possible to play the game.
Helfgott has instead recorded a video of the game on Switch in portable mode, where performance looks relatively stable. The port of Hogwarts Legacy for Switch, which was originally due out earlier this year, will officially be released on November 14 for $60 for the standard edition.
