Wildberries introduces additional order confirmation option

Wildberries protects shoppers from accidental orders, which can be placed by a child playing with the phone or another family member, as well as an intruder who has found the phone and doesn’t want to give it back.
“We decided to introduce dual authentication to double protect our users. While a text password can somehow be recognized by a third party, Face ID and Touch ID technologies cannot be entered without the account owner’s participation,” — commented the Wildberries press-service.

Wildberries has introduced a new option in its app that can be optionally enabled to minimize the possibility of “accidental” orders on other devices, by family members or third parties due to a case in point: a child placed a 250k order on his mother’s app. The company concluded, based on analysis of the user’s behavior, that her last order could indeed have been placed by the child.
To enable the new feature, you’ll need to update the app and select an additional authentication method: pin code, Touch ID and Face ID (and their Android counterparts) are among the options.
