Final Fantasy 14 beta for Xbox will open early next year

Square Enix has named a release date for the Final Fantasy 14 open beta for Xbox. A tweet on the official Final Fantasy 14 account says that the beta will be available early next year.

The game will officially release on Microsoft consoles in spring 2024, but the open beta will be the first opportunity for Xbox players to try out the long-running MMO.

The fact that the game will be coming to Series X and S consoles was officially announced back in June, when Xbox head Phil Spencer made a surprise appearance at the FF 14 fan festival in Las Vegas.

Final Fantasy 14 will be released on Series X and S consoles.
