Rogbid Fusion blends a ring and watch with full health tracking features

Rogbid has launched the Fusion, a unique wearable that sits between a smartwatch and a fitness ring, offering a compact design packed with comprehensive health monitoring features.

The device measures 20.6 × 21 × 8.2 mm and weighs just over 14 grams, making it wearable either as a ring or a wristwatch.

It supports over 100 sports modes, tracks heart rate, blood oxygen, and sleep data, all displayed on a 0.49-inch OLED screen.

With 5ATM water resistance, up to five days of battery life, compatibility with Android and iOS, and a price tag of $49.99, the Fusion is a versatile health tracker in a tiny package.

Wearables over the past few years have oscillated between familiar designs. Smartwatches keep growing larger, while smart rings aim to shrink health tracking to the bare minimum. Rogbid’s new Fusion carves out a middle ground – deliberately straddling both categories.

Compact size, full functionality

The Fusion is essentially a very small smartwatch borrowing design elements from smart rings and traditional watches alike. At just 20.6 × 21 × 8.2 mm and a bit over 14 grams, it’s closer in size to a chunky ring than a typical watch.

Out of the box, the Fusion can be worn as a ring using an included Milanese-style band. If that feels too unconventional, Rogbid also bundles a nylon strap to wear it on the wrist like a regular watch.

The device features a metal mid-frame and boasts 5ATM water resistance, so it’s safe for swimming and everyday exposure to water without worry.

Display and tracking capabilities

The screen is predictably tiny. The Fusion uses a 0.49-inch OLED display, enough to show basic info like time, step count, heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and sleep data directly on the device. More detailed stats will likely require the companion app.

Despite its size, the Fusion functions as a full-fledged fitness tracker. It supports over 100 sports modes, though real-time tracking focuses on essentials like heart rate, steps, and distance.

Connectivity and battery life

Fusion pairs with smartphones via Bluetooth and works with both Android and iOS devices. With up to five days of battery life, it performs impressively for its size, though actual use will depend on how often health tracking features are active.

The Fusion comes in black, silver, and gold finishes. Priced at $49.99, it’s available directly through Rogbid’s official website.

The hybrid concept bridging a ring and watch is still experimental, but the Fusion offers a solid compromise for users looking for the compactness of a smart ring without sacrificing a screen and the broader capabilities of traditional fitness watches.
