Samsung is gearing up for its next big event and plans to show off future technologies ahead of time. The company has officially announced that its annual First Look presentation will take place before CES 2026. At it, Samsung will talk about its DX division’s plans for the year and show off new solutions based on artificial intelligence.

The presentation will take place Jan. 4 at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. Thomas T. Roe, head of the DX business unit, will deliver the keynote address on stage. Also speaking will be the heads of Visual Display and Digital Appliances — they will discuss what the company will be focusing on in 2026.
The event can be viewed online — the broadcast will be available on the official Samsung Newsroom website, the company’s YouTube channel and Samsung TV Plus service. With First Look taking place on the eve of CES, the presentation will give a general sense of where Samsung is going with consumer technology.

One of the key announcements could be the foldable smartphone Galaxy Z TriFold, which was recently released in South Korea. The version with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage costs 3,594,000 won. The price is expected to be around 2,100 euros in Europe and — around $2,400 in the U.S.
At First Look Samsung may finally announce a timeline for the device’s global launch. Also expected are new TVs, updated smart home appliances and improvements to the company’s proprietary ecosystem with a focus on AI integration.
According to insiders, the company may show the first teasers of the flagship Galaxy S26 series, which is scheduled to be unveiled in February. It hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, but holding a First Look ahead of the main Unpacked event hints at an early reveal of key new products.
