Honor has launched the EarBuds X9 wireless earbuds
By ForGeeks HONOR unveiled its new EarBuds X9 wireless earbuds in China at the 400 Series event last year. The new EarBuds X9 has impressive features for its price category and is aimed at users who care about sound quality and long battery life.
The headphones feature 12.4mm composite drivers and are certified as a «Golden Ear Product» by the China Audio Engineering Association. Active noise reduction of up to 49dB is supported, as well as spatial sound effects for a more surround sound experience.
Each earpiece weighs 5.3 grams and contains two microphones with AI noise filtering during calls. Users can choose from four sound modes: «Powerful Bass», «Warm Vocals», «Classic Soundtrack» and «Vibrant Treble».
The main feature of the new product was autonomy. Each earbud got a 45mAh battery, providing up to 9 hours of listening time. A charging case with a 500mAh battery extends total battery life to 42 hours. Fast charging via USB-C is supported – just 10 minutes is enough for up to 3 hours of use.
The headphones support Bluetooth 5.3 with SBC and AAC codecs. There’s support for Google Fast Pair and simultaneous connection to two devices. Touch controls let you switch tracks and take calls. IP54 rating ensures resistance to dust and water splashes.
Additional features include «Bluetooth ring» for finding lost earbuds, and automatic connection when the case is opened. The device is available in two colors: blue and white.
HONOR EarBuds X9 has already gone on sale in China for 299 yuan, which is about $41 USD. No word yet on international shipments.
