The Oppo Reno 14 will be unveiled on May 15 – along with new headphones and a tablet
By ForGeeks The Oppo Reno 14 series is gearing up for its official debut in China. Although the brand has yet to make a public announcement, Chinese tech bloggers have started receiving media invites for the launch. Thus, it’s now safe to say: The announcement will take place on May 15.
What will be shown at the presentation
The company will unveil two smartphones at the event – Oppo Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro, as well as Enco Clip and Oppo Pad SE tablet based on the Dimensity G100 chip. Judging from the teasers, the emphasis will be on cameras, power efficiency and display.
The Reno 14 series will be at the center of competition with the Vivo S30 and Honor 400, which are also gearing up for release in May.
Possible specs of the Oppo Reno 14
According to the latest leaks, Reno 14 Pro will feature a new MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor, which will be an improved version of the Dimensity 8400. The base version of the Reno 14 will probably get the same chip.

The selfie camera in both devices will be 50MP, which emphasizes front-facing shooting. The main camera on the Reno 14 is 50MP with OIS, and in addition to it:

- 50 MP Samsung JN5 TV
The Reno 14 Pro will have a periscopic module 50MP instead of the usual TV. Both devices will get batteries with a capacity of around 6000 mAh and fast charging power of 80W.
What else Oppo will reveal
Besides smartphones, there will be other new products on stage. Specifically:
- Oppo Enco Clip headphones – expect an open design with an emphasis on comfort.
- Oppo Pad SE tablet with Dimensity G100 processor – a solution for multimedia and everyday tasks.
