Okko started selling tickets to movies and concerts

Online movie theater Okko has launched a new feature – now users can buy tickets to movie theaters, as well as to concerts and music festivals right inside the service.

The function has been implemented in partnership with Afisha. On the main page of the platform there is a section “Tickets to the cinema”, where you can choose a movie, a suitable theater, convenient time and seats. Payment is made via a built-in widget.

Okko offers tickets not only to movies, but also to large-scale music events, such as Afisha’s Picnic festival. The new service is available on all popular devices – from SMART TV and Android TV to mobile apps and the web version.

Okko representatives say that this solution makes the platform a universal entertainment center: now you can not only watch movies and TV series, listen to music and follow sports broadcasts, but also plan offline leisure time.

The emergence of offline scenarios can engage viewers deeper into the movie industry by expanding the touchpoints of content. Users will be able to find out about movie premieres in advance, including those that will soon appear in Okko’s exclusive online selection.

Okayko’s offline scripts allow for deeper engagement with viewers, broadening the points of contact for content.

Tickets for “Everything That Concerns You” (created in partnership with Okko), “Batya 2: Grandfather,” “Zhdun,” “Trifles of Life,” “The Master,” “The Postman” and other new releases are already available through the new section.
