OnePlus 13T: Leak reveals design, colors and key specs

OnePlus is preparing to unveil its new smartphone OnePlus 13T as early as late April, but thanks to a fresh leak from China, we can already gauge what the device will look like. A reputable Digital Chat Station insider published a high-quality render on Weibo, showing the appearance and new color options of the upcoming new product.

New body, flat edges and updated camera module

The published image shows the OnePlus 13T in a rich black color, which is rumored to be called Cloud Ink Black. The main visual difference from past models is the flat side edges and redesigned main camera unit, shaped like a rounded square (squircle). Instead of the usual round module, a more concise design with two lenses and LED flash is now used.

This approach makes the smartphone visually more austere, but still maintains the recognizability of the OnePlus lineup.

There will be three colors: from classics to bright accents

According to the leak, besides black, the OnePlus 13T will be available in two more colors: Morning Mist Gray (morning fog gray) and Heartbeat Pink (pulsating pink). The latter color has already been glimpsed in videos that surfaced earlier on the web, and could be a key color for promoting the device in China.

Compact flagship with a powerful battery and flagship hardware

  • a flat 6.3-inch display with 1.5K resolution – a compact size by today’s standards;
  • 6200 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support;
  • double camera: a 50MP main sensor and a 50MP dual-zoom TV;
  • Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which will provide top-notch performance;
  • new “smart button” that will replace the familiar Alert Slider

For now only for China

At the moment, only the Chinese launch of the OnePlus 13T has been confirmed. There’s no information on an international version yet. Given the popularity of the series outside of China, it’s possible that a global release will come later – as it already happened with previous OnePlus models.
