Forza Motorsport brings back the iconic Fujimi Kaido track for the series’ 20th anniversary

In honor of the 20th anniversary of the legendary racing franchise, studio Turn 10 has announced the return of one of the most fan-favorite tracks – Fujimi Kaido. It will appear in Forza Motorsport as early as May 2025.

Fujimi Kaido is a fictional track inspired by the Japanese mountain roads in Nagano Prefecture. It first appeared in the original Forza Motorsport (2005) and was subsequently included in Forza Motorsport 3 and 4. The track will now be re-implemented in the actual Forza Motorsport 2023 installment with modern technology and graphics.

The updated version of the track is impressive in its scale:

  • Length: 16.5 kilometers (10.24 miles)
  • Number of turns: 144
  • Height gain: 826 meters (27,111 feet)

Besides the return of Fujimi Kaido, Turn 10 has promised that the game will feature additional content as part of the anniversary update:

  • new fan cars
  • special racing suits
  • unique in-game events

Forza Motorsport is available on PC and Xbox Series X|S. The PC version supports the exclusive global traced lighting (RTGI) feature, which noticeably improves the visual quality of the game.

Interestingly, concurrently Forza Horizon 5 is preparing to debut on PlayStation 5 in April, marking the first appearance of the Forza franchise on a competitor’s platform. It’s not yet clear if Horizon and Forza Motorsport will follow.

In its review, GameSpot called the game «a triumphant return of the racing simulation» noting that it’s more accessible yet deep than ever.
