Oppo Find X8S and Find X8S+ display, battery and charging information has leaked out

Oppo’s Find X8 lineup is set to get three new models next month. While the Find X8s and Find X8 Ultra have already been at the center of rumors, new leaks from China suggest that another model, the Find X8S+, will be added to the list.

According to a tipster, the Find X8S will feature a 6.3-inch display with a “1.5K” resolution, while the X8S+ will get a 6.59-inch flat panel. Both devices are expected to support 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, and are IP68 and IP69 rated for dust and water resistance. Other common features include an X-axis vibration motor and an optical fingerprint scanner embedded in the display.

Battery updates

According to DCS, the Find X8S+ will pack a 5,860 mAh battery, but details about the battery of the standard X8S version are still unclear. According to the informant, the latter will weigh just 179 grams. It was previously reported that the Find X8S will feature a 5,700mAh+ battery housed in a slim body just over 7mm thick. The flat display will also have impressively narrow bezels, measuring less than 1.38mm.

Another significant upgrade will be the processor. While the whistleblower didn’t name it specifically, an Oppo spokesperson confirmed that both phones will be powered by the Dimensity 9400+ chip, which should be in theFind X8 Ultra

When it comes to the third model in the lineup, the Find X8 Ultra, Oppo has officially confirmed some key specs. The flagship will feature a flat 2K display with ultra-thin symmetrical bezels, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and two periscopic telephoto lenses – one with 3x zoom and the other with 6x.

The phone will also have a sleek 8.xx mm thick profile, faux leather trim and a customizable vibration motor. All of this will be powered by a battery with a capacity of over 6,000mAh.
