OnePlus Ace 5S: new details about the Dimensity 9400+ smartphone

OnePlus is preparing to launch a new smartphone in the Ace series – the OnePlus Ace 5S, which will get a Dimensity 9400+ processor. A recent leak from Weibo has revealed the key specs of the device.

Display and performance

OnePlus Ace 5S will feature a 6.83-inch LTPS OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

The smartphone will be based on the Dimensity 9400+, an overclocked version of the Dimensity 9400, whose debut is scheduled for April 11.

Autonomy and charging

The smartphone will get a 7,000 mAh battery, but it’s not yet known which charging option the company will choose:

• 80W charging with a 7,000 mAh battery
• 7,500 mAh battery with slower charging

There is no ultra-fast 100W or 120W charging.

Camera and Design

• The main camera is 50 MP, but without a telephoto lens
• The rear panel design will become minimalistic, possibly abandoning the circular camera module
• The traditional Alert Slider will be replaced by a new customizable «Magic Cube» for additional features

Expected Announcement

OnePlus Ace 5S will be part of the revamped Ace lineup and will likely be introduced in the first half of 2025.
