Assassin’s Creed Shadows: the story will take 30-40 hours to complete, and the full playthrough will take 80+ hours to complete

Ubisoft has revealed the length of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which will be released on March 20, 2025

How many hours will the walkthrough take?

• Main story – 30-40 hours
• For 100% completion – 80+ hours
• This makes Shadows comparable to Assassin’s Creed Origins (30 hours for story and 85 hours for full completion).
• The game will be shorter than Odyssey (45 hours / 144 hours) and Valhalla (61 hours / 148 hours).

What else is known?

• Structure – Shadows is closer to the RPG games in the series (Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla) rather than the more compact Mirage
• New Game+ – Ubisoft is considering adding the mode after release
• Early Leaks – The game fell into players’ hands back in February. Ubisoft urges not to spoiler and reminds us that the release version will be an improved version
