Ark: Survival Ascended: reduced price due to delayed release date and DLC
By ForGeeks Wildcard Studios has postponed the release of Ark: Survival Ascended. Previously scheduled for August 2023, «next-gen remaster» will now be released for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC in October.
Wildcard has delayed the release of Ark: Survival Ascended.
The game’s starting price has also been lowered from $59.99 because it will come with less content than previously planned. The game will be priced at $44.99 in early access, and with the launch discount —$39.99.
Ark: Survival Ascended will release from Early Access in late 2024, when all content will undergo a next-gen remastering. Wildcard Studios previously confirmed that the official Survival Evolved servers would be shut down after Survival Ascended’s release, essentially shutting down access for players who don’t pay for the update. The servers were scheduled to shut down in August, but after Ascended was delayed, they will be shut down on September 30.
