E3 2024 and 2025 cancelled, says L.A. Tourism Board

E3 2024 and 2025 have reportedly been cancelled. According to the City of Los Angeles Tourism Board, a package of documents released Wednesday said a summary of the city’s planned conventions «includes cancellations for 2024 and 2025».

The Expo was supposed to return this month and host an in-person event for the first time in four years. However, after months of preparation and uncertainty, the show was canceled in March.

At the time, new organizer ReedPop said E3 «just hasn’t generated the sustained interest it needs to be held in a way that demonstrates the size, strength and impact of our industry».
