The global launch of Huawei Nova 13 will take place on December 12

Huawei has announced the release of its new Huawei Nova 13 and Nova 13 Pro smartphones outside of China. The devices will be available from December 12, following an official announcement in Dubai. The foldable Mate X6 will make its debut on the same day.

Huawei has also announced that it will launch the Nova 13 and Nova 13 Pro outside of China.

Performance

The Nova 13 and Nova 13 Pro feature a Kirin 8000 chip, 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. Satellite connectivity is also supported for calling and messaging in remote areas. Both devices have 5,000mAh batteries with 100W fast charging support.

The Nova 13 and Nova 13 Pro are both equipped with the Kirin 8000 chip.

Designs and screens

The two models get OLED screens with 120Hz refresh rates. The Nova 13 has a 6.7-inch screen, while the Nova 13 Pro has a 6.76-inch screen with a higher resolution.

Cameras

Huawei Nova 13 has a dual 50 MP and 8 MP camera, while the Nova 13 Pro has a triple 50 MP, 12 MP and 8 MP camera. The front cameras on both models are also strong, with the Nova 13 having 60 MP and the Nova 13 Pro having 60 MP and 8 MP.

Software

The two models run on HarmonyOS 4.2, with the ability to install Android apps. Huawei is also preparing a system update to future versions of HarmonyOS.
