Chinese brands dominate the smart watch market in Russia

MTS specialists have presented up-to-date statistics on smartwatch sales in Russia for the period from the beginning of January to the end of September 2025. According to the firm’s data, the wearable gadget market is showing a steady rise, and the main players are devices from Chinese manufacturers.

In the first nine months of 2025, 3.9 million smart watches were sold in Russia for a total value of 30.9 billion rubles. The average cost of one gadget amounted to 7.9 thousand rubles, with the highest demand in the price segment from 2 to 5 thousand rubles — it took 39% of total sales. The most popular models were Xiaomi Watch 5 Active (5.5% of all sold devices), Huawei Watch Fit 3 (4.1%) and Redmi Watch 5 Lite (3%). Also in the top five were Apple Watch SE (2,022) and Huawei Watch GT 5.

The composition of the leaders is virtually unchanged year-on-year, with Chinese brands continuing to lead the pack in terms of number of devices sold. In financial terms, Huawei equaled Apple for the first time &#8212 with both companies taking 26% of the market.

At the same time, the Chinese brands continue to lead the market in terms of number of devices sold.
