Lomography has revealed the Lomo MC-A film camera with analog filters

In an effort to recreate the charm of analog photography but with modern technology, Lomography has introduced the Lomo MC-A. It’s a 35mm camera styled like classic soapboxes, with manual film rewind and a built-in rechargeable battery with USB-C charging.

The camera features a 32mm fixed focal length lens with an aperture of f/2.8. There’s a built-in flash, autofocus system, advanced manual exposure settings, as well as auto and aperture priority modes. Manual zone focus and multi-exposure are available for creative experimentation and a unique “film” effect.

Special attention to detail has been paid, with support for a Splitzer accessory to split the frame, and a set of color filters for the flash to give your shots more impact. At just over 400 grams, it’s easy to carry around and use for street photography.

Sales of the Lomo MC-A will start in limited editions, with the first shipments scheduled to arrive by December 24. Pre-orders are currently open at $549 (RUB 44,800).
