Samsung Galaxy S23: Battery certification confirms imminent announcement

The long-awaited Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is one step closer to launch, and the latest proof is the battery certification from Safety Korea. The battery bears the model number EB-BS711ABY, which matches the SM-S711 identifier for the Galaxy S23 FE seen previously. The battery cell is manufactured by Amperex, but its capacity is not disclosed. Past rumored specifications suggest a 4,500mAh cell with a 25W charging capacity.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is rumored to come with an Exynos 2200 chipset, along with 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. A 50 MP primary camera will likely be placed on the back. The Galaxy S23 FE is expected to hit the market before the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5, which are due out the last week of July.
