Shadows of the Damned is getting a remaster

Grasshopper Manufacture has announced that Shadows of the Damned will receive a remaster. This was announced during the countdown to the latest Devolver Digital Direct, but no details about the release have been revealed.

The game was released in June 2011 on PS3 and Xbox 360 and was a collaboration between Goichi Suda of Grasshopper (aka Suda51) and Shinji Mikami.

In the game, Garcia Hotspur, a demon hunter, must save his girlfriend Paula from the Demon Lord. In the new trailer for the remaster, Garcia arrives at the Grasshopper office and kills one of the employees.

Although Shadows of the Damned was developed by Grasshopper, it was published by Electronic Arts, so some are unsure who owns the rights.
