John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando, a new first-person zombie shooter

Legendary horror director John Carpenter has teamed up with Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive to create a first-person shooter. John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando —is a cooperative FPS in which players must destroy Sludge God, a vicious creature capable of turning people into zombies.
The game is a horror shooter with the power to turn people into zombies.
John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando will use Saber’s Swarm Engine and will be released in 2024 on Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Carpenter said: «Collaborating to create a new video game with Focus and Saber —is very exciting».
Saber Interactive Chief Creative Officer Tim Willits added: «We’re excited to collaborate again with our friends at Focus and excited to collaborate with the legendary John Carpenter on this project. His unique vision, unparalleled storytelling expertise and ability to create a compelling atmosphere helped take this new 80s-inspired experience to the next level.
