Apple supply chain analyst Jeff Poo suggests that the base model iPhone 17 will get a 6.1-inch display, an A19 chip, 8GB of RAM and an improved 24-megapixel front-facing camera. The main camera will be dual: a 48-megapixel Fusion and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The body will remain aluminum.

Based on these specs, the base iPhone 17 won’t be a significant upgrade over the iPhone 16.
