Roborock P20 Pro robot vacuum cleaner: new powerful motor and a “climber” mode for overcoming obstacles

Roborock has unveiled its new P20 Pro robot vacuum cleaner, which has two unique features. Firstly, it offers high cleaning efficiency thanks to its powerful motor and innovative design. Second, it’s able to climb over thresholds and other obstacles up to 4 centimeters high, which is a significant advantage over similar devices.

The suction force of the Roborock P20 Pro is an impressive 18,500 Pa, which is a significant increase over the 10,000 Pa of the previous model in the series. The manufacturer also emphasized that the new shape of the main roller brush prevents hair from winding up during cleaning, while the improved FlexiArm auxiliary brush effectively cleans corners and areas along walls. When carpets are detected, the brushes automatically lift up to protect the pile from damage.

One of the key features of the new product is the ability to tackle obstacles up to 4cm high thanks to a unique suspension design. Roborock claims it is the first model on the market to offer this feature.

The Self Cleaning 2.0 docking station automatically cleans the vacuum cleaner after cleaning, including washing the brushes with hot water at 75°C and hot air drying at 45°C. The P20 Pro can be controlled via a proprietary app or voice commands. A 6,400mAh battery is responsible for long battery life.

The Roborock P20 Pro is currently available for pre-order in China for a price starting at 41,000 rubles, depending on the type of docking station included. There’s no information on international markets yet.
