Activision announced Season 3 of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2

Activision has detailed Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded. The mid-season 3 update, due out May 10, will introduce a new multiplayer Raid Episode 03 map, a new DMZ experience, two fully automatic pistols and a Warzone 2.0 ranked game, among other features.

Alboran Hatchery is a medium-sized 6-by-6 multiplayer map set in a remote, windswept facility beneath the turbines of a wind farm.

The new multiplayer modes include Giant Infection, which will be playable on large combat maps, and Faceoff 3 by 3, which allows players to use their own equipment and game modes such as Team Deathmatch and Kill Confirmed on Gunfight maps.

Warzone 2 introduces preset perk packs in supply crates and purchase stations. DMZ players will have the opportunity to earn valuable rewards by discovering one of the many entrances to the new underground structure.

The Activision Warzone Ranked Game will also launch in beta with competitive settings, a progressive rating system and seasonal rewards.
