It’s been officially confirmed that GTA 6 will only be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The big question is whether the new GTA Online will be available immediately after launch or released in several phases. The first version came out almost a month after GTA 5, and Red Dead Online — even longer, almost seven months later. We don’t expect GTA 6 to wait that long, but Rockstar might want to give players a few weeks for the main game before tempting them with an online mode. Besides, it’d be like a second launch to hit the headlines again.
