MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ will get a higher clock speed and improved AI processing
By ForGeeks The Dimensity 9300+ is the latest flagship chipset from MediaTek, which offers higher clock speeds and an improved APU, compared to the Dimensity 9300. The new chip will get a Cortex-X4 core clocked up to 3.4GHz, while the base Dimensity 9300 ran at 3.25GHz.
The processor is based on TSMC’s third-generation 4nm+ process, just like its predecessor, and features the same Arm Immortalis-G720 GPU with ray tracing. The updated APU 790 guarantees a 10% performance increase in artificial intelligence tasks. It also features the new NeuroPilot speculative decoding acceleration technology. And it can run LLM with 7B parameters at 22 tokens per second.

The updated AI engine also supports a wide range of LLMs, including 01.AI Yi-Nano, Alibaba Cloud Qwen, Baichuan AI, ERNIE-3.5-SE, Google Gemini Nano, and Meta* Llama 2 and Llama 3. The Dimensity 9300+ also supports LoRA Fusion and NeuroPilot LoRA Fusion 2.0 devices.

The first smartphones with the Dimensity 9300+ chipset are expected to be the vivo X100s and iQOO Neo 9S Pro.
