VK Clips will be able to leave donations and post collaborative clips

The VKontakte team has announced an update to its vertical video service, VK Clips, due later this week. After the update, users will be able to co-create videos: they will appear in both creators’ profiles. Musicians will also have access to teasers (the ability to upload excerpts of unreleased tracks and launch pre-release challenges and playlists).

By the way, videos will be able to be grouped into themed playlists. This will make it easier to combine videos in the order you want, including entire series with sequential plot development. The developers also plan to improve the video editor. Multitracks feature should appear. The update will allow authors to add several tracks of audio, text and stickers, customize their duration and order of playback. Clip descriptions will increase to 4,000 characters. Authors will also be able to make content more creative and dynamic by choosing different styles for transitions between segments and adding voice-overs.
It should be noted that there are still plans to update the interface of the clip viewer screen and the design of the web version of the clip feed.
