Sales of hybrid SUV Tank 500 started in China

In China, pre-sales of the upgraded Tank 500 hybrid SUV have started. In the first two hours, dealers processed 7,289 applications. The model’s price ranges from 360,000 to 388,800 yuan (approximately 3.98-4.19 million rubles).
Buyers are offered a number of bonuses: an 8,000-yuan discount, a free night vision system, a technology package and seats with massage function.
Exterior changes and new technology
As CarNewsChina notes, the model’s exterior is almost unchanged, but there is a new green body color in the lineup. The main technical innovation is a roof-mounted LiDAR ATX sensor from Hesai.
The dimensions of the car are 5078×1934×1905 mm, wheelbase – 2850 mm, ground clearance – 210 mm.
Updated interior
The biggest changes have been to the interior. The transmission shifter has been moved to the steering column, freeing up space on the center tunnel for two wireless charging pads and a panel of physical buttons.
The driver gets a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch touchscreen multimedia screen, and a projection display. New items include a streaming rearview mirror, a built-in refrigerator, and a 17.3-inch ceiling screen for second-row passengers.
