Xiaomi has updated its Redmi K Pad tablet lineup with a new body color called Flowing Gold White. The version with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage is priced at 2,999 yuan (about $420 USD). A 16GB + 512GB version is also available, priced at 3,499 yuan (about $490).

The new variant adds to the existing colors — Deep Black (black), Misty Purple (magenta) and Spruce Green (green). The tablet retains the 8.8-inch LCD display with a resolution of 3008×1880 pixels, a variable refresh rate of up to 165Hz and peak brightness of up to 700 nits in high brightness mode. The screen supports HDR10, HDR Vivid, Dolby Vision, and is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
The device is powered by — a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip. Xiaomi has applied a new cooling system with a central thermal design and 12050mm² aluminum vapor chamber for better heat dissipation. The tablet supports native 3K gaming and features the Immortalis-G720 MC12 graphics gas pedal.

Memory comes in LPDDR5X and UFS 4.1 standards, with the maximum configuration reaching 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. Sound is handled by a four-speaker symmetrical audio system with Dolby Atmos technology, as well as two linear vibration motors on the X-axis for improved tactile feedback.
Redmi K Pad supports Wi-Fi 7 and uses a three-antenna scheme to reduce latency. Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C 3.2 Gen1 and USB 2.0 connectors are also provided. The new dual-port USB-C design allows for bypass charging, which reduces heat while simultaneously running and charging.

The tablet features a 7,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. Cameras include a 13-megapixel main sensor and an 8-megapixel front sensor. The device weighs 326 grams and the body is — just 6.46mm thick.
