Thunderobot unveiled the Mix G2 compact gaming PC with RTX 5090 graphics card

Thunderobot has launched the new Mix G2 mini-PC, a compact gaming system with a volume of only 3.2 liters that combines powerful hardware and modern design. The device is aimed at gamers and content makers who want the performance of a desktop PC in a small package.
The Mix G2 is powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor with 24 cores and 24 threads, running at up to 5.4GHz. Its thermal package reaches 120W, and its built-in NPU provides up to 36 TOPS of processing power for AI tasks. This allows the system to leverage AI optimization for gaming and work applications via Intel APO and Application Optimization.
The graphics are handled by Nvidia’s GeForce GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop graphics card on Blackwell architecture. It runs at 175W and features 24GB of GDDR7 video memory. The graphics card supports ray tracing, DLSS 4 technology, as well as Nvidia Studio and Max-Q tools to accelerate creative processes. The GPU has a total of 10,496 CUDA cores and 1,824 TOPS of AI power.
For cooling, Thunderobot uses a proprietary system with a large vapor chamber (194×130×2.8mm), two 12-volt fans, and ultra-thin 0.1mm-thick fins. The company claims a 30% improvement in cooling efficiency over the last generation.

Mix G2 is equipped with 64GB of 5600 MT/s DDR5 RAM and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. You can expand the RAM up to 128GB and add an additional SSD via PCIe 4.0 and PCIe 5.0 slots.
Interfaces available include Thunderbolt 5, HDMI 2.1, USB-A and USB-C ports, an RJ45 connector, and Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless modules. A docking station is included to expand the ports. On the front panel are USB 5Gbps (Type-A and Type-C) and audio output.
The PC runs Windows 11 Home and features a striking design with a Penrose triangle-shaped power button, blue LED lighting, and a translucent side panel. It can be mounted both vertically and horizontally. It measures 332 × 212 × 45 mm.
The Thunderobot Mix G2 goes on sale November 20. Three configurations are available:
- Core Ultra 9 275HX + RTX 5090, 64GB RAM + 1TB SSD – 26,999 yuan (≈$3,780)
- Core Ultra 9 275HX + RTX 5080, 32GB RAM + 1TB SSD – 18,999 yuan (≈ $2,660)
- Core Ultra 7 255HX + RTX 5070 Ti, 32GB RAM + 1TB SSD – 14,999 yuan (≈ $2,100)
