Samsung has confirmed the release date of One UI 8 for Galaxy smartphones

The Samsung company has officially announced when it will start releasing a stable version of the One UI 8 shell. There’s no exact date yet, but the Korean brand has confirmed that the update will arrive as early as September 2025.
One UI 8 will be released in September
According to Samsung’s official blog, the release will start with the Galaxy S25 series and then expand to other devices that are on the compatibility list.
So far, there have already five beta versions of One UI 8 released for the Galaxy S25, and according to insiders, a sixth is being prepared. This has raised fears that the launch could be delayed. However, Samsung emphasizes that the plans have not changed – the release of the stable version will take place exactly in September.
Who will get One UI 8 first
Owners of the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra will get the update first. After that, the update will start rolling out to other devices, including the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z series, and some Galaxy A models.
