Realme GT 8 with Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and 7,000 mAh battery will debut on October 21

Realme is preparing to unveil not only the flagship GT 8 Pro, but also the standard Realme GT 8 — its official announcement in China will take place on October 21. A pre-order page has already appeared on the Realme China website, revealing the key features of the new product.
According to the published data, the Realme GT 8 will get a flat OLED display with 2K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The screen diagonal is rumored to be 6.6 inches. The smartphone is based on last year’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
The device has already flashed in AnTuTu and Geekbench benchmarks. On AnTuTu the Realme GT 8 scored an impressive 3.32 million points, while on Geekbench — 2,825 points in single-core and 8,840 in multi-core mode.

The official images confirm a 50-megapixel periscope camera. The rest of the camera specs have not been revealed yet.
Another strong point of the device will be the 7,000mAh battery. The 3C certification indicates support for 120W fast wired charging, but wireless charging appears to be absent.
The Realme GT 8 Pro is expected to launch internationally in November, but plans for a global launch of the standard GT 8 are not yet known.
