Global launch is set for late June
Known insider Abhishek Yadav has revealed that POCO F7 will make its debut in Indonesia on June 25, 2025. In his tweet, he attached a screenshot from the Shopee marketplace confirming the date. That said, there is a possibility that the launch in India will take place on the same day. If the information is correct, the official announcement will take place as early as next week.
Flagship specs at an affordable price
The smartphone will be built on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. The screen is one of the device’s main trump cards: a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz PWM dimming, 480Hz touch response and peak brightness of up to 3200 nits. This display ensures comfort even in prolonged use and bright sunlight.
Cameras, battery and other chips
The main camera is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor, complemented by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The front camera will have a 20MP resolution – optimal for selfies and video calling.
Battery too inspires confidence: the global version will get a 6,500mAh battery, while the Indian version will get as much as 7,550mAh. Both variants support 90-watt fast charging via a wire. According to the renders, the smartphone will be available in white and black colors.
PO and environmental protection
POCO F7 will run HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15. Other features include IP68 dust and water protection, Wi-Fi 7, and an optical fingerprint scanner built into the screen.
If POCO maintains aggressive pricing like previous generations, the F7 has a good chance of being one of the most balanced flagships of 2025 in terms of value for money.
