Translation, decoding and reminders: what features iPhone 17 owners can look forward to

Owners of iPhone would like to see new artificial intelligence-based features in the smartphone. Synchronized translation from a foreign language and call transcription (31% of respondents), as well as smart reminders (19%) were the most anticipated features, the Yandex Market survey found.

The survey also showed that the iPhone helps owners solve both work and household tasks. Every third (31%) owner uses their smartphone for work – most often to check mail and documents (37%), manage tasks (29%) and take photos and videos (25%). In addition to work tasks, iPhones are actively used to pay for goods and services (38%), and as a means of communication and social networking (30%).

Apple is among the top 3 most popular smartphone brands on Yandex Market. The most popular models this year are the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 15 and iPhone 13. 

Pre-orders for the iPhone 17 have already started on Yandex Market. You won’t need to prepay in advance. Cases and accessories for the new iPhone models from Commo, Yandex Factory’s brand, will also be available for pre-order.

The study is based on data from a survey of 1,279 iPhone owners from 17 regions of Russia aged 18 and older.
