Panasonic unveiled the SoundSlayer x Final Fantasy XIV neck headset

Panasonic Japan has announced a special version of the SoundSlayer neck speaker — the SoundSlayer x Final Fantasy XIV model (SC-GNW10S-FF). The new product will go on sale in Japan on December 11, 2025 at a price of 35,200 yen (approximately $230). The device will be available primarily through Panasonic Store Plus and will be on sale until the end of December 2026, but shipments may end earlier if stocks run out.
This version is based on the SC-GNW10S gaming model, known for its four speakers, powerful surround sound effect, comfortable fit and easy handling. It also supports low latency with a dedicated 2.4GHz wireless connection. In terms of hardware specs and performance, the new version is identical to the original, but with official Final Fantasy XIV stylistic elements.
The speaker’s body features icons of FFXIV’s game classes, while the transmitter is styled like a meteor — one of the recognizable symbols of the game’s universe. The packaging features artwork from the Golden Legacy add-on and includes a map of the game world. The device is equipped with an LED that can switch between the colors of the game roles: blue for tanks, green for healers and red for DPS.
