Casio launched the WS1800 series of digital watches with retro design and up to 10 years of autonomy
Casio has officially launched its new WS1800 series of digital watches. The lineup includes three models: the WS-1800-1AV in black, the WS-1800-2AV in blue, and the WS-1800-3AV in green. Each version has a recommended price of $39.95.
The WS1800 series is positioned as a sporty digital watch with a distinctly retro design. It features a wide graphic display with two scales at the top and a large main screen that shows the time, date and day of the week. The front uses a spherical resin crystal, while the case and strap are made of lightweight polymer material. The watch weighs 41 grams and is designed to fit a wrist circumference of 145 to 215mm.
The watch is water resistant to 100 meters, making it suitable for swimming and outdoor activities. It is powered by a CR2025 battery, which the manufacturer claims has a lifespan of up to 10 years. For easy use in the dark, there is an amber LED backlight with an afterglow effect.

Functionally, the WS1800 features a dual stopwatch that tracks game time and total elapsed time simultaneously. The event timer is customizable from 1 to 60 minutes, with the stopwatch continuing to run even after the countdown is complete. The upper display captures time up to 59 minutes and 59 seconds, and the lower display — up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds.
The watch also features a preset countdown timer with fixed intervals of 10 to 45 minutes, auto repeat and elapsed time tracking. Additionally, you can set up to nine independently triggered interval timers in one-minute and five-second increments.
In addition, the model supports 29 time zones for 48 cities around the world, a daily alarm, an hourly alarm and a fully automatic calendar that extends to 2099. The accuracy is ±30 seconds per month. The user can choose between 12- or 24-hour time formats, as well as disable the beeping of the buttons if necessary.
