Oura has introduced new ceramic rings and charging case

The company has expanded its Oura Ring 4 lineup with new zirconia ceramic models, a charging case and health features.
Oura is not releasing a fifth generation of smart rings in 2025, but updating the current one with more colorful options. The ceramic Oura Ring 4 goes on sale starting at $499 and comes in four colors: midnight (blue-green), petal (pink), tide (mint), and cloud (white).
New Ceramic Rings
The models are made of zirconia ceramic, which the company chose for its durability. According to Oura, the material is so hard that it can leave marks on metal. Unlike metal versions, the color in ceramic is not applied over the top, but embedded in the structure, so it doesn’t fade over time.

The rings are thicker and heavier than the metal ones: 3.51mm vs. 2.88mm and weigh 5.1-8.1g vs. 3.3-5.2g. The gauges, width and interior are identical to the standard Oura Ring 4. The size range is from 4 to 15.

Multi-ring support and recycling program
Oura has added support for multiple devices: you can now quickly switch between two rings in the app, similar to the Apple Watch. The company is also launching a recycling program where users will be able to send old models.
Charge Case
Another new product is a $99 charging case. It’s designed for a specific ring size, stores up to five full charges, and replenishes the battery from zero to 100 percent in 90 minutes. The case itself charges in the same amount of time, is made of aluminum, has an indicator light and a USB-C port. The new rings come with the familiar docking station by default, and the case is available as an optional accessory.

Health Panels: blood testing in an app
The company also announced the Health Panels service. Users will be able to schedule a blood test at a Quest Diagnostics lab, and the results – about 50 biomarkers related to cardiovascular and metabolic health – will be displayed right in the app.
Consultation is available from Oura Advisor, an AI chatbot. It doesn’t diagnose, just explains whether your vitals are within normal range and gives general advice on how to improve.
The cost is $99, and tests can be paid for through the FSA/HSA. The service is only available in the U.S., with the exception of Arizona, Hawaii, New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island due to regulation.
A similar feature was previously announced by Whoop, but the launch has yet to happen.
