Oppo Find X9 Pro will get Hasselblad’s magnetic camera kit

Oppo is preparing the flagship Find X9 Pro for release, and the main surprise will be a magnetic camera kit created in partnership with Hasselblad. The confirmation came from Find series manager Zhou Yibao on Weibo. For the first time, this accessory will not only be available for the Ultra version, but also for the Pro model.
Magnetic system instead of removable modules
In contrast to traditional attachments, Oppo’s system uses magnets for quick locking. This will allow you to instantly switch between standard shooting and an advanced set of optics. A concept image with a Hasselblad grip and extra lenses has already appeared online, though Zhou says the final design will be different from the prototype.
Emphasis on 200MP telephoto camera
The kit reportedly includes a teleconverter for the main 200MP camera with triple zoom. It will be used to get closer to the levels of the Vivo X200 Ultra, which offers a 200mm equivalent.
So Oppo is changing its strategy: instead of a dual-TV setup like the Find X8 Pro, the company is betting on a single flagship sensor with external optics support.
Hasselblad color reproduction and AI processing
Thanks to the partnership with Hasselblad, users can expect sophisticated color reproduction and professional image calibration. Oppo’s AI is responsible for post-processing. Video-centric accessories are also expected for the standard Find X9, but it’s not yet clear if they’ll include external optics.
