LG has unveiled the UltraFine 40WT95UF, the world’s first 5K2K resolution monitor equipped with Thunderbolt 5 interface. It’s aimed at professionals working with large amounts of data, from finance and IT professionals to those in the creative industries.

The model features a 39.7-inch curved IPS Black panel with 2500R curvature and 5120×2160 pixel resolution. The refresh rate is 120Hz and the color gamut is 99% DCI-P3 space. The monitor is VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified and is factory calibrated for accurate color reproduction out of the box.

One of the key benefits was the use of Thunderbolt 5 with 80Gbps of two-way bandwidth. This allows you to connect multiple 4K displays, transfer large files, and charge devices up to 96W, all through a single cable. Connectors include two Thunderbolt 5, one USB-C (input), four USB-C (output), two USB-A, two HDMI, DisplayPort 2.1 and an RJ45 Ethernet port.
