Honor Magic V Flip 2 released: the first “clamshell” with a 5,500 mAh battery

Honor has unveiled the Magic V Flip 2, the world’s first foldable flip smartphone with a 5,500mAh battery, which is significantly more than any other similar model.
So far, the new product has only been announced for China, but there’s still hope for an international launch. The smartphone stands out not only for its record-breaking battery, but also for its serious cameras and a number of AI features.

Design: The smartphone is positioned as a fashion accessory. There’s a limited edition version, created with designer Jimmy Choo, in crystal blue. The usual options are purple, white and gray.

Durability: 50-micron UTG glass, aerospace-grade titanium hinge, nearly flat internal screen. IP58 and IP59 protection against water and dust.
The device supports file transfer between Android and iOS, a rarity for such devices.
Honor Magic V Flip 2 will go on sale in China on August 28. Pricing has not yet been announced.
