Dangbei unveiled a 4K projector with record brightness and Dolby Vision support

Dangbei has unveiled its new flagship S7 Ultra Pro projector at its fall 2025 presentation. While the device’s official price hasn’t been revealed yet, it’s expected to be lower than the older S7 Ultra Max model released earlier for 15,999 yuan (about $2,228).

The S7 Ultra Pro offers 4K resolution and 4,500 CVIA lumens brightness, so images remain crisp even in daylight. It’s aimed at users creating a high-end home theater experience.
The projector features a polarized light module that increases optical efficiency by 10% and light transmission by 168%. The Master Gold Ring lens provides high sharpness and accurate color reproduction.
The major technological innovation is an eight-layer light diffusion system that almost completely eliminates laser grain. The 0.98-1.6:1 zoom lens allows projection of a variety of image sizes without loss of quality — from 80 to 300 inches.
Contrast ratio reaches 8,000:1 in normal mode and 65,000:1 with dynamic light control. The projector supports all key HDR formats, including Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+ and HDR Vivid.
The device is powered by a MediaTek MT9681 chip, complemented by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. The projector runs Dangbei Super AI OS 6.0 with artificial intelligence elements, and supports voice commands, gesture control and light pointer navigation.

The S7 Ultra Pro is compatible with the Mi Home ecosystem, allowing you to automate scenarios like turning on the projector, closing the curtains, and adjusting the lights. The liquid cooling system improves heat dissipation by 50% and reduces noise to 24dB.
