Dell revealed the Pro 14 Essential and Pro 15 Essential laptops in ruggedized cases

American brand Dell has expanded its range with the introduction of the Pro 14 Essential and Pro 15 Essential models aimed at small and medium-sized businesses. They are designed with a focus on high performance, reliable data protection and long life.

The two new models have VA screens with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels (2.5K) and up to 300 nits of brightness. The display diagonal is 14 inches on the Pro 14 Essential and 15.6 inches on the Pro 15 Essential. The laptops are available in a variety of models with Intel processors up to Core Ultra 7 155U and AMD processors up to Ryzen 5 8640U.

Depending on configuration, the RAM is up to 64GB (DDR5) and the SSD — up to 2TB (M.2, PCIe). Security is provided by hardware encryption, a fingerprint scanner and Dell Management Portal software for remote monitoring.
The two models have successfully passed MIL-STD 810H tests to prove their ruggedness. Other features include — a webcam with a protective blind, stereo speakers, a 41Wh, 54Wh or 64Wh battery (depending on the version), Windows 11 operating system, and a full-size keyboard (no number pad on the Pro 14 Essential).

The Dell Pro 14 Essential and Pro 15 Essential are first available in India, where pricing for the base 14-inch model starts at $360 (RUB 29,350).
