Apple will make it easier to connect to Wi-Fi on iPhones, iPads and Macs

Time is especially precious when traveling, and having to take turns entering your hotel Wi-Fi username and password on each device is a task that’s a shame to waste extra minutes on. Especially when you’re already running out of time due to flight delays and a tedious commute.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is working on a new feature that will allow you to fill out a web form to access Wi-Fi on one device, after which the data will automatically sync with your other devices – iPhone, iPad and Mac. The innovation is expected to be unveiled as early as next month at the WWDC conference.

For Mac users, this is especially useful: Apple’s laptops still don’t support direct 5G connectivity, so Wi-Fi in hotels remains the primary way to get online. With the new single-device fill-in feature, authorization on a Mac will be fast and seamless.

With the new fill-in feature, you’ll be able to authorize on a Mac quickly and seamlessly.

The new ability to sync Wi-Fi access between devices will apparently be part of iOS 19, so it’s worth keeping an eye out for the opening WWDC 2025 presentation, which starts June 9 at 10:00am PST (8:00pm Moscow time).

Later in the day, Apple will reveal details about the broadcast, and you’ll be able to follow the presentation live. To make sure you don’t miss a thing, you can install the Apple Developer app from the App Store now. Open it and click the WWDC tab to stay up to date on all the news from the conference.
