Alice on YandexGPT 5 Lite became available to all users without subscription

You can use the assistant in chat, Yandex Stations, TV Stations, and other smart devices. There’s also a new multi-source search mode.
Alice can now help with everyday, professional, and academic tasks. Answers are more accurate, complete, and creative, especially in conversations: the AI assistant takes into account the context of the conversation and develops topics without losing logic.
Updated features without the Pro option
Even without a subscription, Alice can now solve logic and math problems. According to a blind comparison, in 89% of cases, answers based on YandexGPT 5 Lite were more accurate, structured, and informative than the previous version without Pro.
Chat responses have become succinct and tailored to written language, while on devices they’ve become concise and easy to understand for verbal comprehension. Empathy has also improved, with Alice better able to keep the conversation flowing and maintain the thread.
Source Search and Contextual Answers
The “Search” button has been added to the chat interface. It allows you to quickly find accurate information even on complex topics. Alice analyzes multiple sources on the web and generates a concise, reliable answer based on them. All sources are cited in the answer, and the model doesn’t add anything of her own.
The dialog format allows you to ask clarifying questions to dig deeper into the topic. This makes the conversation with the assistant more interactive and useful.
Option Pro: advanced features of YandexGPT 5 Pro
Users who activate the Pro option get access to the full version of the AI assistant – YandexGPT 5 Pro. It supports reasoning mode, file management, English learning, personal settings, child mode and live mode with object recognition via smartphone camera.
